This session was worth the replanning! Sweet Samantha had been anxiously waiting for this engagement shoot, and with some quick thinking, weather watching and reservation changes her dream day arrived! Immediately I loved Samantha and Cameron, we hadn’t met yet in person but Samantha came bouncing up to me with a huge smile and a warm hello!

It was fun to enter the gardens, the place where Samantha had once had her senior photos and Camerons first time ever visiting! We thought we picked a perfect spot out of the way, but Sam and Cam sweetly scooted to the edge for several other visitors who pooped up along the way. Neither lost their warm smiles though, and naturally fell into these images like they had done it 100 times before!

I loved that they brought their pup Griffin (who was ADORABLE) plus a huge “thank you” to their friend who came along to help with the energetic guy! They cleverly also brought some gear from the bar where they first met, Merls Tavern.

The weather was perfect, and so was Samantha and Cameron! Thank you for a wonderful evening and being so flexible! I am so excited to capture your wedding day!
