The day was the perfect Michigan summer weather. Warm and sunny, with a soft breeze. We arrived to quiet excitement, and rooms filled with joy and anticipation. The couples dog Piper was another excited friend, waiting patiently for mom and dad to say “I do!” joining in for photos whenever possible! Garrett and Kelseys vows said it best, they are one another’s partner, safe place and home. Starting off meeting at college simply as friends, which grew into best friends and gradually and undoubtedly became love.

Surrounded by their family and friends on a gorgeous countryside, they pledged to be each other’s person for the rest of their life. The cherry to top it all off was the cutest flower girls and ring bearer, and of course Pipers grand entrance! Following the ceremony and indoor barn reception full of greenery and shades of blue (BEAUTIFUL!). The first dance was a favorite moment of mine. The entire room gathering around in complete silence. It gave me goosebumps as I looked around and realized how still the reception became when the music began. As if the whole world had to stop and awe at a moment.

Garrett and Kelsey, your love is one to stop and marvel at. It’s steady and sure, pure and fun, and built on a foundation of complete friendship. Thank you for having us capture the beauty of your day! I hope that you both and Piper too, have the most amazing future ahead of you!
